mood: this photo of a woman and her son from the 1980s in New York, an emerald green interior, Rose Wylie and her artwork, Danish street cycling style.
I am lucky enough to live in London, one of the best cities in the world (if not the very best). Cycling around the city has made me love it even more. It’s the cheapest, fastest and second greenest (after walking of course) way to get around town.
My bike is nothing fancy, but I love it to bits and make use of it nearly every single day. I don’t really wear cycling-specific clothes, but I like to put together flexible pieces that are easy to move about in.
I cycled to the Sackler gallery to see the Rose Wylie: Quack Quack exhibit. Her work is inspired by the cinema and is very playful and fun. Plus, the exhibit is free. If you’re in London I definitely recommend a visit.
Bonus points if you can match your outfit to the artwork. 😉
My turtleneck and coat are both from my fave & Other Stories, who have an admirable green policy. My comfy boyfriend jeans are from Monki, who are also making big moves for the environment. I scored the shoes for a tenner in a superb charity shop on Well Street. Belt is vegan leather from Love Moschino. My pieces of jewellery are family hand-me-downs.
